Update and Photos

We added new photos to http://www.macroyouths.org/. These fotos show some of the MACRO activities with the volunteers. They also show how the MACRO volunteers directly help people in the villages where there is no aid at all from any big organizations and the government as well. Some of these photos show different visits made by MACRO such as visiting prisons and and provide crime prevention workshops, human rights sessions, donating used clothes to prisoners, and also preparing good meals for them from that they feed on . We also dress up cuts for those who get injured from the fields. We also build small houses for old people who don't have shelter. We also carry on HIV/AIDS workshops in the villages to young people out of schools and those in schools. The prison where we were, is in Mukono district, Kauga prison with over 572 both women and men. The village where we carried on HIV/AIDS workshop is Katoogo, and the village where we built a house for and old man is Nagojje. The photos to describe all this is and can be found in the photo gallery.

Welcome!

This blog was created to provide current and past volunteers of MACRO to post stories, news, and images to share with each other. It will also provide an area that potential donors and other organizations can access to learn more about what MACRO is. I will be linking to this blog from the main page of MACRO's website
